Passed away peacefully at St. Anderews Terrace on Thursday October 17, 2013 in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Jose Lemos. Loving mother of Elisabeth Reis (Tony) of Cambridge, Elsa Lemos ( Chris Cairns) of Morriston. Also survived by her grandchildren Anissa, Ariana, Benjamin and William, also her 2 brothers Eduardo Amaral (Noelia) of Brantford, and Miguel Amaral (Verna) of Cambridge. Alda was born on July 1st, 1945 in Campo Raso Candelaria Pico Azores and has lived in Cambridge since 1967. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Sunday October 20, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 P. M. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 185 Elgin St. S. Cambridge on Monday October 21, 2013 at 12:30 P. M. Interment Parklawn Cemetery. Parish Rosary Sunday evening at 7 P M. As expressions of sympathy donations to Alzheimers Society or Canadian Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
