Jean T. Sadowski

Jean T. Sadowski was born May 10, 1923 in Hammond, IN, and she passed away on October 28, 2013 in Chicago, Heights, IL. A wake will be held at Hennessey Nowak Funeral Home (Calumet City) on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held at St. Victor Church on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Jean is survived by her two loving sons Kenneth and David; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian and Melissa; many nieces and nephews; and her dearest friend Henry. She is preceded in death by her husband Casimir (Bill) Sadowski; sisters Ann (Joe) Kaltunchik; Alice (Ben) Klapkowski; Charlotte Neil; Sophie (Henry) Wajciechowski; and Helen (Walter) Mackowick.

Jean T. Sadowski was a life-long resident of Calumet City. She was an active member of the Ladies of Coranada (ladies auxiliary Knight of Columbus) and sang in the St. Victor Church Choir. She also sang with Our Lady of Knock Choir, the Millennium Choir, and the Carnalities Montessori of Munster. She loved the outdoors and flowers, but mostly singing and dancing with her partner Henry. She was loved by many and will deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
