Wing Yee Fung

Wing Yee spent most of his working life in Hong Kong and achieved a successful career in chinaware wholesale and retail. Wing Yee married Sui Ying Fok (maiden name) in 1952, and together they raised 6 adult children. He and his family immigrated to Canada in the1980's and subsequently settled in Calgary, Alberta.

In 2012, while in Hong Kong, Wing Yee was led to Christ by a Chinese Christian couple who was visiting Hong Kong. On Thanksgiving day of 2018, Wing Yee and his wife were baptized together, which reaffirmed his decision to follow Christ as his Lord and Saviour.

Wing Yee aged quite well with little health issues. In his later years, he began to lose his mobility; his health gradually deteriorated since then. Wing Yee enjoyed his longevity till the age of 98. He was blessed with 6 children, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Wing Yee was hard working and frugal. He lived a modest life. He saved money to care for his family and brought his children up with the best resources that he could afford. Wing Yee is humorous and sophisticated. He has left behind many of his life stories, experience and teachings to his loved ones.
