How do we define a man’s legacy? Is it the power he has wielded? The possessions he owns? The money he has banked? For Bill, he saw his legacy every time he looked across the dining room table during the holidays. Every time he leaned up against a wall at the farm and saw his children Bill, Diane, Bob, Jim, Lisa and Bonita; watched his grandchildren Tyler, Bill, Pauline, Katherine, Mitchel, Bob and Brayden; marveled at his great-grandchildren Oscar, Sloan, Mason, Layla and Sawyer. To Bill, his family is his legacy.
To the doctors, nurses and staff at the Rockyview General Hospital and the Southwood Hospice you have our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the compassionate care you demonstrated every day.
Now is the time for Bill to reunite with his forever soulmate, his best friend, his wife Louise. She has been waiting and the time has come to continue their journey. They are together now and everything is perfect.
The family will honour this reunion with a private celebration of life.
