On Sunday, October 1, 2017, Victor Resch passed at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his wife Barbara; children Wendy (Gary), Randy, Judy and Rick; grandchildren Candis, Tyler, Kris, Amanda, Nikki and Crystal; great-grandchildren Karmen and Carter; brothers Joe, Peter and Chris (Marcie); sisters Rose (Jack) and Betty (John); sister-in-law Darlene (Gordon); as well as many nieces and nephews. Victor was predeceased by his brothers Martin, Frank, Ben, Gene and Ray and brother-in-law Doug. He worked at McGavin’s for over 32 years, retiring in 1988. He also worked at Happy Solos Dance Club at the Kerby Centre as Security for many years and volunteered at Bow-Crest Care Centre. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
