It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Teresa Orton in Calgary, AB on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the age of 89 years.
Teresa was a loving wife, mother, teacher and author. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Colin Orton; as well as sons John, Stephen and Michael. Teresa also leaves behind eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Because Teresa dearly loved the social outings at Confederation Park Senior Tea and Conversation Program, memorial donations may be made directly to Confederation Park 55+ Activity Centre, 2212 - 13 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2M 4P7.
