I am heartbroken to hear of Taylor's passing.  My heart goes out to the Graham family.  I want you to know that he is remembered fondly on this of the Rockies.  I will always remember him as a gentle person who had kind & happy spirit about him.  Taylor worked well with his peers, and he was hardworking & always came up with creative ways to look at problems.  I was proud to be one of his teachers at North Ridge.  Rest in peace Taylor!

My sincere condolences to Taylor's family and friends. I learned of Taylor's passing just today and am deeply saddened. I had the privilege of being Taylor's LA teacher for both grades 8 and grade 9 at Thomas B. Riley School. I was always impressed with his work ethic and the pride he took not only in doing great work - but also being a great team player and friend. Taylor was always a great role model at TBR and such a positive presence. I am so sorry for your loss.

I didn't know Taylor personally, but he was in one of my classes last semester at the university and from what I saw of him in class, he seemed like an intelligent, kind kid who was always smiling. I had the distinct pleasure of teaching Taylor math at Bowness. He challenged me with some pretty interesting ways of approaching problems. He definitely had a gift in this discipline. For me I knew that Taylor and I were going to be friends the moment we met. Although we didn't know each other for long he was incredibly nice and thoughtful to me. I will always remember him as such a smart young man, who was extremely generous with his intelligence. I am truly blessed to have known him. 

A fond memory I have of him was studying together for our accounting class, and although it doesn't sound fun, I had a great time. I remember it was the first time I really got to know him, and I'm glad that it was just the two of us because I got to really see what a special and funny person he was. That night I told my mom that he was my favourite new friend, I told her that I wanted to start doing activities with him and our common friends. I only wish I could have had more time. What hurts the most is knowing that I'll never be able to carry out what I had planned in my head. I think about you everyday Taylor, and I'll continue to carry your memory with me.

I didn't know Taylor that long bu in the time that I did I knew a bright, happy fun loving young man, I am glad to have known him. My deepest condolences to his family, he will be missed by all.

Taylor I Love You. I cannot believe you're gone. 

As your proud father I was always bragging about how intelligent you are and wanted anyone that listened to know that you were brilliant and one day you would be a great Lawyer. I would tell the stories of you as a young man impressing your teachers, family and friends with this incredible scholastic talent. The ability to argue with others and prove your point was amusing and even though frustrating for them, it would put a smile on my face and deep inside I knew that I was witnessing a very talented young man. Watching you take on projects from school and strive to achieve 100% no matter how complicated or difficult the task was impressive. 

As a toddler I gave you the nickname T-Dog and with your impish grin and devious personality it seemed so appropriate and endearing. You would play games with your brother and sister and as long as you were winning everything was great. If you were losing, you would change the rules to ensure victory. This was the T-Dog way, the drive to be number one was instilled in you from birth and this motivated you in everything you did, whether it was a simple game, X-Box, Play Station, school or any other challenges that came your way.

I look at your picture and cry and cannot understand how we lost such a great son and family member. I will reflect on your life every day and cherish the memories of the times we had together.

The world has lost a very special person, a beautiful son, brother and friend.

Taylor was an amazing young man. It was such a pleasure to have classes with him at Bowness. He was always so friendly and happy to talk to anyone. Taylor and I were in mock trial together, and never have I had the privilege of meeting a kid with so much drive, passion and intellect. He was a remarkably hard worker and conscientious in every situation he was placed in. I saw him as a friend and wish I could have spent more time with him, because he truly cared and listened when I spoke to him. All Taylor brought to my life will never be forgotten, and Taylor, the time that we spent together (although it was only a matter of months) will always rest in my mind as one of the fondest memories and accomplishments from my high school career. You were truly a remarkable young man and will be sorely missed, but your memory will live on in my heart and in countless others. My heart goes out to Taylor's family during this difficult time.

Taylor was the best friend you could ever have. He had such amazing talents from me and him playing CoD on Xbox to solving math equations. We have had some of the best and greatest memories growing up. 4 solid years of knowing the most analytical and intelligent person with happiness and comedy. He is the best person you could meet and get to know with so much knowledge along with lots of humor.

Taylor and I used to play a lot of Xbox online together, we played Halo and Call of Duty. In Call of Duty we tried to complete the Easter egg (the mission in a game mode called zombies.not many people have completed this because it is hard to do.) but we failed because we missed one of the steps. Around Christmas time all my cousins come down for the holidays. So one of my cousins( 13 years old) went on my profile and acted like he was me and he was playing with Taylor. Taylor soon realized this and kept playing with my cousin who was 5 years younger. My cousin was so excited that Taylor kept playing with him even though he was much younger, he told my other younger cousins and now all my cousins think of Taylor as the coolest and nicest guy ever.

Taylor was one of my closest friends. We had a ton of fun playing Xbox on Friday night and hanging out at school and U of C. He was an great inspiration to me and I always enjoyed his company. He was a great friend and i'll never forget him.

Taylor was a remarkable young man and he was a pleasure to teach.  It was my privilege to teach him for two years.  He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Where to start? We first met in junior high, and to say we were friends or anything of the like would have been a lie. We never talked unless we were in the same assigned group. In high school, it wasn't very different. You had your friends, I had mine. But in grade twelve, we finally started to talk to each other. We competed, compared and strove to be the top of the class. It was fun, being able to have someone to push me to do my best, and it wasn't just that. We helped each other out, and a lot of the time, you tried to explain your "shortcuts" to me in calculus. Of course, I never understood anything you said. When I learned you were going into Business, I was surprised. I thought you would have gone into Engineering, and when I told you I was doing the same, you said you thought I would be going into Engineering too.

University was when we really started talking. I learned about the music you liked, we laughed at Peter Tracey's jokes together in economics, and I always dragged you over to sit with me in all the classes we had together. Despite your reaction every time I did, or the look on your face when I greeted you on the bus, you would always come over anyways. Thank you for making me laugh and smile, and even though it wasn't for the longest of times, I really enjoyed your company.

To the Graham family, thank you for raising such an amazing son, he truly was one of the brightest and kindest people I've had the pleasure of knowing. I wish you all the best now and in the future.

Taylor, my friend, I knew you for five years. In fact, you were one of my first friends when I came to Calgary. You were there for me when I needed someone to talk to and just have fun. It was in Grade 9 French in Ms. St-Amour's class that I really began to get to know you. What a fun class. Whether it was making fun of how the words sounded or when you brought out your Rubik's cube, the memories will always be with me. We created the YouTube channel, Malajob, which now will always be there for when I miss your voice or your strong, enthusiastic attitude. I remember when you used to come to my parents house and eat supper before youth group. You were the most picky eater I have ever seen and I will always remember the soup packets! 

Yesterday, I went to T.B. Riley and Bowness High, and relayed the news to many of the teachers from both schools. The emotions, the tears, and the memories that they shared with me were incredible. Even teachers that didn't have you in any of their classes, still remembered you from things such as the speech competition (1st place in Grade 10 & 11!), or events in the Random Acts of Kindness Club. 

Last night, many of the friends that you had all gathered together at Alex Chang's house. We celebrated, reflected, and cherished the memories of your life during that night. In these actions, it was evident that you had an amazing impact on all of our lives. 

My thoughts and prayers go to the Graham family. Including his older brother and younger sister. I can't imagine the devastation that they must be feeling. 
Thank you Taylor Graham. For everything. You shall surely be missed.
