Mrs. Rosa Rizzuto

Rosa Rizzuto passed suddenly on Friday, May 29, 2015, at the age of 82 years. Rosa was born in Italy in 1933 and at the age of 21 immigrated to Canada where she lived a full life. Although she had a lot of tough times, it never stopped her determination. Rosa always insisted on living life on her own terms. She had many talents but her green thumb was unmistakable. Rosa (Nonna) will be missed by her three children Nina (John – deceased), Giancarlo and Anna (Brent). Her stories will be missed by her granddaughters Jenna, Christina, Breanna and Daniella whom she loved very much. Also missing her are brothers Pietro (Assunta), Guerino (Brenda), Battista (Suzanne) and Charlie (Carlene) and sister Maria. Rosa was predeceased by her parents Luisa and Vincenzo Rizzuto, two brothers Frank and Rosario and son-in-law John Fitzsimons. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, June 8, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
