Reade Hardin Belote Sr.

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of our beloved Reade Belote. Reade peacefully left this world, following a courageous battle with cancer, at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta on September 25, 2024, at the age of 75.

Reade held an inspiring love of birds, enjoyed talking to his friends on the phone (until those friends fell asleep) and loved his family.

He leaves behind a son; Reade Belote Jr., also known as “Cutter”. He leaves a grandson; Reade Crockett Belote, a daughter; Rachel and sister; Jan G. Belote. He also leaves his close friends; Kelly, Melanie, Terry, Sue and David (who he grew up with).

He was predeceased by parents; Harvey. W. Belote and Mary G. Belote as well as his brother; Harvey W. Belote.
