Dennis passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Calgary, AB after a hard fought battle with leukemia over many years. Born in Jasper, AB, Dennis spent 39 of his working years with Calgary Power (Transalta Utilities), in numerous small towns throughout Alberta. He was a great lover of the outdoors, horses, camping, cycling, skiing and many years of square dancing. Dennis leaves to mourn his wife of 62 years, Ruth; sons, Randy (Viv), Brad (Lyla), Gord, Gerry (Lisa); three grand-daughters and one grandson. At Dennis’ request, there will be no service. A family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
