Ping Lin Lau

Ping was born in Toi Shan, China in 1936. She first moved to Saskatchewan from Hong Kong in the early 1970s. Ping settled in Calgary later and worked many years in the hotel industry.

Predeceased by her parents Ping Heung Chiu and Yung Sin Lee and her sister Ping Shim Chiu, Ping will be missed by her nephew Henry, Henry’s wife Cherry and Henry’s daughter Kira.

Relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at Foster’s Garden Chapel (3220 – 4 Street NW, Calgary, AB) on Sunday, July 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Ping’s life will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.

Ping’s final resting place will be at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Burnaby, BC.
