We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Pak Ling Chan in Calgary, AB on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the age of 91 years.
Pak is survived by her loving children Alice, Raymond (Kary) and Tommy (Amy); grandchildren Derrick (Kay), Marianne, Carol, Renny, Carrie (Bob); and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Koon Cheong Chan.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Dr. Gladman and the staff of Bow View Manor, Victoria Palliser for their compassionate care during the past three and half years of Pak’s life.
A Visitation will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., with committal to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made directly to Bow View Manor, 4628 Montgomery Blvd NW, Calgary, AB T3B 0K7.
