Mary Richter

December 15, 1933 – August 22, 2012

It is with great sadness that we share with you the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Mary loved her family who meant the world to her and loved being a grandmother and great grandmother. Mom was predeceased by her husband Bill and her brothers-in-law Ernie and Jack. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Beth (Stu), sons Doug (Dianne), Jim (Dolores) and Art (Patti); twin sister Jean and sister Pat; grandchildren Craig (Tara), Keith (Fiona), Crystal, Richard (Stacey), Kirsten, Rachel, Lewis; and great grandchildren Kaden, Amelia, Hailey, Aviya and Owen as well as numerous nephews and nieces and her best friend Esther. We will miss her loving smile and dry wit, and she will be forever cherished in our hearts. A memorial service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, August 31, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, 1400, 522 University Avenue, Toronto, ON M5G 2R5, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 100, 119 - 14th St. NW., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6, or to the charity of your choice.
