Mary Marcinowski

Mary Marcinowski passed away in Calgary, AB on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Mary was born in Loomis, SK on September 8, 1931 to parents Ignacy ‘John’ and Katrazyna ‘Kathryn or Kay’ Marcinowski. She is survived by sisters Emelia ‘Millie’ Lamont and Wanda (Neil) Thomas; brother Frank (Myrna) Marcinowski; brothers-in-law William ‘Bud’ Sheridan and Thomas ‘Tom’ McCauley; as well as fourteen nieces and nephews: Garry (Glenda), Sharon (Bill), Debbie, Dave (Carol), Dan (Debbie), Laura, Janie (Ron), Marilyn, Dale (Terri Lynn), Bev, Denise, Ken (Julie), Stephen (Meghan), and Jason. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters Marilyn McCauley and Olga Sheridan; brothers and sisters-in-law Bernard ‘Bernie’ and Edie Marcinowski, Michael ‘Mike’ and Anita Marcinowski, John and Eunice Marcinowski; as well as nephew Bruce Sheridan and niece Sharee Townson.

Upon leaving school in Loomis, SK she worked in Eastend, SK before traveling to Calgary, AB to begin her career as an accountant becoming a partner in an insulation business. She was an active member of the Desk & Derrick Club for many years and enjoyed both playing and watching the sport of curling. She will be sadly missed by many friends and co-workers.
