Mary Brown

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved aunt, Mary Brown, who went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her nieces, Lillian, Shirley, Bonita, Leona, Brenda, and Sharon as well as by nephews, Brian, Ken, and Paul and sister-in-law, Minnie (Bill) Neufeld. Mary was predeceased by her husband, James Struther Fife Brown; her brothers, Jake, Peter, and Bill; her sisters, Anna, Olga, Lena Klassen, Tina, and Beth Reimer; her sister-in-law, Verna; her brothers-in-law, Con Klassen and Jake Reimer; and her nephew, Ron Neufeld. Mary was born near Hodgeville, SK to Henry and Elizabeth Neufeld. She was much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family as a quiet, shy, lovely lady. All who knew her will miss her and her cheerful smile. The family will receive friends and relatives at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 4 Street N.W., Calgary, AB from 10:00 a.m.to 11:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Suite 100-119 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
