Mary Elizabeth Barlow

Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Jacqueline (Sean) Staddon, dear grandson Geoff and her niece Rayona (Dick) Schulli all of Calgary. She is also survived by her grand nieces and nephews David (Pauline) Schulli, Cathy (Evan) Walters, Ronalda (Ted) Kelter, Charles and John Cameron, Heather (Tony) Irving, Colleen (Jamie) Davis as well many other family members here in Alberta, Prince Edward Island and the U.S.A.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Jack T. Barlow in 1975. Because of her love of animals, "Betty" A.K.A.. "The Cat Lady" spent more than sixty years feeding and providing shelter to many homeless cats and dogs. Our sincere thanks go to Bertha, whose love, compassion, dedication and care given to Betty for the past five years was exceptional. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Bowview Care Centre for the love and care given to Mom during her stay there.

A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Foster's Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street NW, Calgary.
