It is with sadness that we share the passing of Marie Thorne.
Mom was born at home, in Biggar, Saskatchewan, to parents George and Ida.
She is survived by her sister Ida; daughter Anita; two sons Randy and Shawn; her three grandchildren Tina (Gord), Mike (Vahri) and Shane; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom graduated from her C.N.A. course in 1948 and enjoyed this as her career.
A Memorial Service will be held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
