Marie Sharp passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years. Marie was predeceased by her husband Patrick in 2011, and sister Susan in 2016. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Maureen; sons John and Gerard (Karen); grandchildren Tim (Elwira), Danielle (Dan), Melissa, and Steven; and great-grandchildren Cooper and Mason.
Marie immigrated to Canada with her family in 1966. She retired in 1992 after waitressing for 25 years at the Westin Hotel. Marie will be missed by family and friends.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the angels on the third floor of the George Boyack Nursing Home for their care and kindness.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Ascension Catholic Parish, (1100 Berkshire Boulevard NW), on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
