Margaret Gallagher, a native of Calgary, passed into her Lord’s presence on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. She was 88, and finally succumbed to implications arising from a broken hip. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Sheryl (Carl) Medford and Karen (Len) Engleson. She cherished eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Margaret, an amazing wife and caretaker for 43 years, follows her husband Wilson, who in 2005 went ahead to wait for her in heaven.
Margaret was a gifted hostess and admired for her skill at hand work. She also had the unusual gift of being able to remember everyone’s name! She worked at the Bay for many years, and her home church was First Alliance.
A small family Celebration of Life was held at Tudor Manor in Okotoks where she resided the past four years. She is remembered by her brother Roy Christiansen and nieces and nephews
