Magdalena Karla Dlouhy

June 24, 1942 - July 22, 2013

Magdalena Dlouhy was born June 24, 1942 and passed away peacefully in Calgary Alberta on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the age of 71 after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

Magdalena is lovingly remembered but sadly missed by her sister Milada; Jiri Dlouhy and their children Bianca Miller and Mike Dlouhy (Sabrina) and grandchildren Justin Miller and Nathan Miller, Shannon and Liam Dlouhy. Magdalena's life was an adventure that took her from her childhood home in Czechoslovakia to South Africa in 1968. In 1979 Magdalena moved her family to White Rock B.C where "Magda" had a physiotherapy clinic till her retirement. Her retirement years were spent in Calgary A.B enjoying time with her children and grandchildren.

At Magda’s request, a public service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to any children’s cancer foundation of your choice. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
