Mabel Lee

Mabel was born and raised in Calgary, AB. She graduated from James Fowler High School and started working at the Mercantile Bank for a few years. Mabel then decided to attend SAIT and graduated with a Business Administration Diploma. After SAIT, her career was in Office Administration with various companies, including Superior Propane, CPR, Milne & Craighead, and Sifton Energy. During her semi-retirement years, she worked in part-time sales. She was a long time member of the Lee's Association of Calgary. Mabel had a passion for photography, traveling, baking, and music.

She will be most remembered for her cheerful and friendly demeanor, always kind, nice, thoughtful, and generous to everyone she knew, whether family, friends, or people she just met.

Mabel is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sister, Marlene (Perry), her first cousin Rudy (Berney) and their 2 daughters, Jazmin and Saisha, as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and friends in Calgary, Canada, USA, and abroad. Mabel is predeceased by her mother, Sheung Ngor in 2007, her father, Suz Hong in 2010, and her brother, Harvey John in 2019.

The family would like to express our gratitude to all the staff at the Foothills Medical Centre for the special care and attention they gave to Mabel.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
