King Lee Leong

King Lee was born and raised in Kaiping, Guangdong, China and lived there with her parents, Fong Poon and Tung Kit Poon, and sister, Sue Chan in a multi-family community. On December 20, 1957 she married Wing Sang Leong in Hong Kong and moved to Canada shortly after. She was a housewife and mother and in later years, became a store owner with her husband before retiring.

She is predeceased by her husband, Wing Sang Leong. King Lee is survived by her six children (spouses), Pearl (Buddy), Gary, Glenn, William (Maggie), Janet, and Randy (Akane); grandchildren Craig, TJ, Marc (Trish), and Shou; sister Sue Chan and brother David Poon (Helen) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 4 Street NW, Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 between 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
