Khanh Quoc Truong

Khanh was born on May 30, 1935 in Xinhui, Guangdong, China. He came to Canada in March 1980 with his wife and four children sponsored by Saskatoon’s St Francis Xavier Parish. Khanh worked hard to provide for his family in Saskatoon where they resided for twenty-one years. Khanh and his wife moved to Calgary in 2001 to be closer to their four children. In his youth, Khanh was an avid soccer player and in his latter days an enthusiastic fan.

Khanh will be dearly missed by his wife of 49 years, Le Chan Chu; his four children Carmen (Norm), Lori (Ken), Susan (Kevin), and Chivi (Farah) and his three grandchildren Chloe, Samantha, and Daton all of Calgary. Khanh was predeceased by his parents in China and many siblings in China, England and Calgary.

Due to Covid-19, a Private Family Service will be held.
