Kathleen Ann Siska

July 15, 1938 – April 9, 2013

Kathleen passed away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Mount Royal Care Centre in Calgary, AB at the age of 74 years. She leaves behind her loving, devoted husband, Andrew, just three weeks shy of their 57 anniversary; daughters Kelly Ann (Craig) Jewitt, Colleen (Darcy) Seitz and son Kevin (guide dog Terence) Siska; seven grandchildren: Kimberly, Christina and Alexandrea Jewitt; Jordan and Matthew Firman and Andrew and Samantha Seitz; sisters May and Caroline and brother Don. Kathleen was predeceased by her daughter, Laura, in 2006. The Family would like to sincerely thank Aunty May, Dr. Wheeler, Dr. Sandra Foss, nurses Ruth and Cynthia, care aid Perlita and Father Edmund. We would also like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Mount Royal Care Centre for their love and exceptional care of Kathleen. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Alzheimer’s Society of Calgary, 201, 222 58 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 2S3. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
