Kathi Marie Linklater

Kathi Marie Linklater passed away peacefully at the McKenzie Towne Care Center on June 18, 2020 at the age of 60 years. Kathi is survived by her brothers Duane and Doug Linklater and 10 nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her friends at the McKenzie Towne Care Center, a special place to live! She was predeceased by parents David and Lorraine Linklater, her brothers David and James Linklater, and sister Patricia Acovedo. Kathi was born on November 11, 1959 in Lacombe Alberta. She was the youngest member of the Linklater kids. She had 4 older brothers and 1 older sister. She was raised on the farm near Haynes, Alberta until 1963 when the family moved to Calgary, Alberta. Kathi loved music, especially the piano. She also loved tapioca pudding and musical stuffy bears. Kathi moved into the McKenzie Towne Care Center on June 17, 2002 and enjoyed the McKenzie Towne staff until her passing on June 18, 2020.

A Celebration of Life will be held after the pandemic passes. This will be announced at a later date by Duane Linklater.
