It is with great sadness that Karen’s family announces her passing on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the age of 67 years. Karen is lovingly remembered by her son Ronald (Chelan) Haynes; daughter Julia Aquila; sister Heather (Bob) Johnston; grandchildren Gino Secreto, Kiarra Haynes, Shivaun Haynes, Susie Snow and Breanna Giampa, as well as by niece Joanne Johnston and nephew Chad Johnston. She was predeceased by her son Bobby Haynes and daughter Loretta Aquila. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 – 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 4N2.
