It is with a very heavy heart we announce the passing of our loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Jim Prestie, at Prince of Peace Manor in Calgary, on April 8th 2022. There is comfort knowing Dad is at peace back with his beloved wife, Evelyn. Dad was born in Sturgis, Saskatchewan in June of 1927 and would marry Evelyn on June 5, 1973. They enjoyed many happy years together playing cards and dancing.
He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Kori & Brad Langdon; four beautiful granddaughters and ten loving great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn Jim are his siblings, Eileen, Vic and Hugh.
Jim was predeceased by his wife Evelyn, his son Lance, and two of his brothers, Steve and Bill.
A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on May 14th, 2022 at 1:00P.M. at Foster’s Garden Chapel.
Memorial donations in Jim’s name will be gratefully accepted by The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (www.heartandstroke.ca)
