Judy was born on May 10, 1946, to William and Vivian (nee Ollsen) Law. A proud native Calgarian, Judy grew up in a home where downtown Calgary now stands.
Judy met and married Randy Dulmadge. They were both very young and worked hard to build a household and had two sons, Jeff and Mark (of which we are truly grateful).
Judy later met and married William (Bill) Lindsey. He arrived in Calgary with a contingent of Hawaiians for the Calgary Stampede. Dashing and charming, he whisked Judy off to a new life for many years in Hawaii. They settled permanently on Oahu, and spent many happy years there with extended family and friends. After Bill passed away, Judy moved back to Calgary to be closer to her immediate family, especially her grandchildren.
Prior to retirement, Judy worked in various administrative and secretarial jobs in Hawaii, and upon her return to Canada, worked five years as the office manager at MetTech, son Jeff’s company. Judy loved the Calgary Stampeders and was a die-hard fan. She enjoyed a good game of golf, or even a bad one for that matter. She had an incredible heart for animals and could be found feeding and adopting stray cats. She had a number of pet dogs and cats over the years that provided her great joy. She had the most beautiful blue eyes, and her nails were always perfectly manicured. She was slowed down in the last few year by lung issues and cancer but still managed to walk her dog, Bella, up until the last few months. Although gone far too soon, we appreciate the memories that we have made over the many years from holiday celebrations, family dinners, band concerts and high school graduation.
Mom was blessed to have some amazing friends supporting her including her beloved best friend Gail and our cousins, Sharon (Alan) Richie, Jo-Anne Taylor and Bill Gradishar and Gay Law. We are truly grateful for those connections.
Mom is survived by her loving sons; Jeff (Michelle) Dulmadge and Mark Dulmadge, grandchildren Danielle (Ryan) Dulmadge & Logan Dulmadge and fur-daughter, Bella. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Bill Lindsey, her sister Louanne and her brother Johnny
A Celebration of Life will be held for Judy at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm
