Joanne found her true passion in writing, and many examples of her insights and wit can be found on her Facebook page, on Twitter and on her personal blog, Essaysbyjahd.blogspot.ca. Joanne saw the best in others. She was kind, forgiving, and always willing to help a cause or a friend she loved. Throughout her life Joanne drew people to her with her warmth and openness. Her greatest accomplishment was passing on these attributes to her cherished son Benjamin. Joanne was loved. She will be remembered for her love of reading, her long-standing book club and dear friends within it, and the joy she took in caring for rabbits.
