Joan Leggatt passed away with her children by her side on Thursday, November 11, 2010. Mom was in her 82nd year. Joan was the beloved wife of Ross Earl Leggatt; mother of Ann (Dean Collin), John and Robert (Karin Leggatt); Grandmother of Russell Collin, Scott Collin, Jane Collin, Graham Leggatt and Lauren Leggatt. She is also survived by her brother Al Lee. Joan was predeceased by her daughter Patricia "Pat", her brother Bernard Lee and her sister Dorothy Ragg. A celebration of our mother's life was held at St. Martin's Church at Heritage Park, 1900 Heritage Drive S.W., Calgary on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 12:00 p.m., where Mom was the organist during the twelve days of Christmas. Due to limited seating, a reception followed at the Wainwright Hotel. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made at Mom's home away from home, The Costuming Room at Heritage Park.
