Joan passed away peacefully on Thursday June 19, 2014 at the age of 89 years.
She is survived by sons; Paul (Carol), Daryl (Marlene), and sister Doreen Skorah. Joan is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest Gough in 2004 and her daughter Colleen Wright in 2007. Joan was born in Edmonton, but spent most of her life in Calgary living in the Wildwood Community. In later years she enjoyed her condo and friends at Sierra’s of Tuscany.
At Joan’s request a private family service will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 29 Street N.W.
