It is with great sadness that the family of “Eddy” Jayou Augustus Edwards announce his passing on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the age of 78 years. Originally from Spalding, Jamaica, Eddy was the son of James Edwards & Adina Cameron & a beloved father/family man. He was a retired auto-mechanic/businessman located in Calgary, AB Canada. Jayou’s family & friends extend from the Calgary area & abroad.
He is survived by his 3 children; Rohan, Andre and Tricia & grandchild Jaylin. He also leaves behind a large loving family of siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. His infectious smile, personality and voice will be greatly missed and remembered by all.
In memory of the life and legacy of Jayou Edwards, a Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.
Interment to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery.
