Jim is survived by his loving family: daughter Diane Stott (Glenn); son Tim Shaw (Kim); grandchildren Michelle Stott (Danny Nickel), Brodie Shaw, Andy (Sophie) Roy, and Heather Roy (Blair Lilley); great grandson Jackson Lilley as well as numerous family and friends.
Jim was predeceased by his wife of 67 years Connie Shaw; grandson Evan Shaw in 2018;
his parents Gerry and John Shaw; and sister Joan Cox.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel Funeral Home, 3220 4th Street NW, Calgary, Alberta T2M 3A5 on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:00 P.M.
Interment will take place at Queen’s Park Cemetery 3219 4th Street NW Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 12:30 PM (meet at the administration office).
