Henry was born on March 10, 1934 in Taishan, Guangdong province, China and immigrated to Canada in 1955. He worked in the restaurant business before attending SAIT under the welding apprenticeship program. He started his own welding business and was part of the United Association of Pipefitters Union before retiring in 1989.
Henry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy, his four children: Raymond (Judy), Suzanne, Sophia, and Regan (Laura), and six grandchildren: Jonathan, Kristen, James, Corynne (Chris), Victoria, and Zachary.
Henry was predeceased by his father, Wing Quon Fong in 1972 and his mother Mee Sen Fong in 1997.

A private family service will be held, interment at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
