Helen Annetta Larson (nee Francis)

Our dear Mom, Grandmother, wife and friend passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the age of 75 years. Helen leaves to mourn, her husband Larry Larson. She will also be lovingly remembered by her children Joe (Kathy), Vera (Vance), Ken (Signe), Sharon (Ken) and Tracy; grandchildren Ryan (Danielle), Carla, Sarah, Aaron, and family, Amanda (Rob), DJ, and Jason; great grandchildren Madison, Jaxson, Elayna and Sophia as well as many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband and father of their children Joe Mazeroll in 1989; her parents Herbert and Maria Francis; siblings Lloyd, Ross, Hughie, Selma, Florence, Myrtle, and Kay. The family will be forever grateful for the care and compassion their Mom received from the staff of Unit 61 at the Foothills Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Royal Canadian Legion Branch #1, 116 – 7 Ave S.E., Calgary, AB T2G 0H5.
