Grace Ann Una Lizotte

We are saddened to announce the passing of a lady of strong spirit and deep conviction of family, our Mother and Grandmother Grace Ann Una Lizotte. She went to her Father on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the age of 97 years, after a short illness.

Grace is survived by sisters Beulah (Cec), Sylvia (Dan), and Greta (Jacques); brother Leonard (Annette); sons John (Ada) Lizotte, and Lester Lizotte; daughters Martha Stulberg and Sheila (Perry) Leicht; grandchildren Sherry (Dave), Leah (Clarence), Laurie (Dwight), Laurie (Butch), Kerri (Frank), David (Kelly), Corey (Chantelle), Darald (Shannon), Marcy and Candace as well as numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Madeline; her husband John Victor Lizotte; brothers Stanley, Clifford and his wife Florence; sisters Beatrice, Eliza and her husband George; son-in-Law Lawrence Stulberg; grandson Lesley Morris Lizotte; great grandson Donald Morris LaVallie; nephews Ronald, Keith and Curry; nieces Mabel and Jeannette and numerous friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Geoghegan and the staff at the Foothills Hospital 6 Floor, Chinook Care Center and Beaver Dam Lodge for the great care they gave her while in their care.

A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Suite 200-119 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
