Geoff was born February 3, 1931 in London, England. He found his forever girl Audrey in 1946 at the age of 15 and courted her with his humor, charm and pure persistence which led to marriage in 1953. They danced, travelled and laughed together for another 63 years. Geoff served in the British Army, became a Professional Engineer and received the prestigious James Clayton Award. He and Audrey moved to Canada in 1965 to pursue his career and start a family. Tracey (a.k.a. Daddy’s Girl) was born in 1967 and raised in Niagara Falls until the family moved west in 1981. Geoff loved to golf, dance, read, travel and cheer on his favorite football team the Tottenham Hotspurs. This true gentleman will be remembered for his kindness, intelligence and respectful nature approaching life with his infectious smile, humor and grace.
Geoff will be deeply missed by his older brother Stan Abbott; his sister-in-law Jean Abbott; his niece Trish Dabrowski and husband Steve; his nephew, Steven Abbott, and Steven’s children Nick and Lucy.
