Gail is also survived by her siblings, Anna (Al), Jerry (Linda) Judy, Corine, Jerdon (Cheryl) and Michael.
Gail was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Jessie Schuler as well as her great-grandson Rheese Paulette, niece Denise Dunz and her brother-in-laws Don Smith and Wolf Hild.
Gail was born at the Calgary General Hospital and attended Colonel Macleod School and Crescent Heights High School. Gail had quite an aptitude for accounting and pursued a life-long career in this field as well as taking her CGA training. She was loved by everyone wherever she worked and made some life-long friendships.
When Gail wasn’t filling the hearts of her family and friends with kindness and love, she was an avid reader, seamstress, and loved dancing. She was passionate about music. Whether just listening to old time country or gospel she had a talent for playing the accordion and the organ. One of her most cherished passions was taking her grandsons to movie nights with popcorn and treats that eventually evolved into pub nights.
Gail’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
A Celebration of Gail’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL (3220 4th Street NW, Calgary AB).
