Evelyn Sanders passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 19, 2016, at the Bethany Care Center in Airdrie, AB, at the age of 98 years. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Peter (Peggy) Stoffels and Terence (Kit); daughters, Cheryl (Doug) Aitchison and Linda (John) Beale; son, Jim (Glenda) Senior; grandchildren, Melissa, Amanda, Jesse, Fane, Devin and Danielle; as well as eight great-grandchildren. Eve was predeceased by Vern, her loving husband of 53 years. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the CNIB, 15 Colonel Baker Place N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 4Z3.
