Mrs. Emma Franz

Emma Franz went to be with the Lord on Nov. 25, 2010 at the age of 90 years. She was the loving mother of two daughters and one son. Annette (David) Hooper, Monika (Richard) Fredrickson, Herb (Jeanette) Franz. She is survived by two brothers, Johann Schott of Germany and Adolf (Irma) Schott of Calgary. She is lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Emma was predeceased by her husband Otto, her sister Anna and brother-in-law Jacob Serr, and sister-in-law Irma Schott of Germany. A Funeral Service was held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 3:00pm. Interment followed at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made directly to The Samaritan’s Purse Canada, 20 Hopewell Way NE, Calgary, AB T3J 4V7 or Calgary Meals on Wheels, 3610 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary, Alberta, T2G 2P9.
