Elizabeth passed away at Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the age of 93 years. She was born in Ráksi, Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1950. When she first came to the Alberta prairies she knew she was “HOME”.
John and Elizabeth were married for 64 years and enjoyed spending their time with family and spent their summers camping.
Elizabeth is survived by her four children; Betty (Dettef), Evelyn, Diana (Tony), Carey (Alison), six grandchildren; Josh (Kristen), Riley (Lysa), Evan (Nica), Katie (Cole), Brandon, and Jake; two great grandchildren Kai and Capone. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2019.
The procession to the graveside will start at 12:30 p.m. from Foster’s Garden Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W. Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
