Ted Walsh passed away peacefully at his home in Calgary, AB on Monday, February 14, 2011 at the age of 73 years. Ted Worked for Indian Affairs for twenty-five years in Vancouver and retired to Calgary where he resided for the past ten years. Ted’s passion was roses. He was an award winning member of the Calgary Rose Society. Ted is survived by his sisters Marie Howe of Victoria, BC and Joan (Bob) Crick of Calgary; brothers Don (Connie) of Sault St. Marie, ON and Randy (Jackie) of Iron Bridge, ON, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Phyllis and Henry Walsh. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
