Mrs. Edna Adeline McCool

November 28, 1917 – July 12, 2013

Edna McCool passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, AB on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the age of 95 years.

Edna is lovingly remembered by her children Eileen Holmes, Norman (Analiza) McCool and Heather (Garth) Fordyce; grandchildren Joanne (Len) Elford, Tannis Fordyce, and Trevor Fordyce; great grandson Brandon Elford as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Edward McCool in 1978, her son-in-law David Holmes in 2000, her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Horne-McCool in 2003, one sister and four brothers.

At Edna’s request, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edna’s honour may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 200, 119 – 14 Street NW, Calgary AB T2N 1Z6. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
