Edith will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Anton “Tony” Brenner to whom she was married for 62 years. Born in Horna Stubna, Czechoslovakia, Edith and her family immigrated to Peace River, Alberta, Canada in 1949, and later met Tony in Calgary in 1956. Married in 1958, they began their lives together and started their family. Edith will always be remembered as a dedicated and loving wife, mother and Oma who worked tirelessly to build and maintain a wonderful family home. She took joy in nurturing a close-knit circle of family, friends and relatives with love and respect. Her talents and abilities as a homemaker were unsurpassed and her commitment to assist in her community and church, St. Boniface Parish was graciously accepted and appreciated.
Edith is survived by her husband Anton “Tony” Brenner, her children Erika Barker (Warren), Tony Brenner (Gabi), Monica Lehti (Ernie), Lorraine Brenner, Michael Brenner (Elisabeth) and Sharon Sprinkhuysen (Anthony). She also is remembered by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
