It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Gordon Anderson of Airdrie, AB. Doug was born on July 2, 1942 in Calgary, AB and passed away on December 9, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Doug is survived by his wife Betty, daughter Sara, son Anthony (Linda), granddaughters Candice (Mike) and Katrina, grandsons Christopher and Bradley and great-grandchildren Joseph and Layna. Douglas was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a Visitation at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday December 16, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life will also be held at the Riverbend Community Association, 19 Rivervalley Drive S.E. Calgary on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre (1331 - 29 Street N.W.
