Donna Gordon passed away peacefully at the Salvation Army Agapé Hospice on Monday, May 9, 2016 at the age of 78 years. Donna is survived by her loving sister Mary Ann Gordon and the Betts family in Calgary, AB, Gabriola Island, B.C. and Alpharetta, GA and her Aunt Tena Combs of Wetaskimin. She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Mildred (Millie) Gordon. Donna graduated from the Calgary General Hospital School of Nursing in 1959 and worked over 30 years in the neonatal intensive care nursery, Donna loved her babies. Nursing was far more than a career to Donna. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Donna’s Life to be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Salvation Army Agapé Hospice, 1302 - 8 Ave. N.W., Calgary, T2N 1B8 or a charity of one’s choice.
