We are sad to announce the passing of Donald Leeds Foster (Don) on Monday, February 21, 2011. Don was born and raised in Calgary, AB and was a long time member of the Native Calgarian Society and the Good Companions Club. He was also an honorary member of the Chinook Chapter of the Heritage Club and Association of Retired Postal Employees (A.R.P.E.). He is survived and forever loved by wife Winona and her family, daughters Clare Gillam (Keith) and Faye Wingert (Allen) and son Barry Foster (Marion), as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother Winston Foster, cousin Elsie Brooks and dear friends. Don was predeceased by his first wife Nancy Clare Foster on March 11, 1997. A private service was held at at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to a charity of one’s choice. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
