Donald (Don) Ashley, beloved brother and uncle, passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 28, 2024. He will be deeply missed by his family; his sister, JoAnne (David) MacGregor, his nephew, Sean and niece, Rianna. He will also be missed by the students and families of the Children’s Ministry at the Centre Street Church, as well as his friends and colleagues at Calgary Transit.
His family greatly appreciates the care and support received during his lengthy stay at the Foothills Medical Centre and Rockyview General Hospital and his short stay at the Dulcina Hospice Care.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Centre Street Church (3900 2nd Street NE) on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory can be made to the Calgary Humane Society though their website at https://www.calgaryhumane.ca.
