Diane Mary Torresan

Diane Torresan passed away peacefully in her home in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the age of 68 years. Diane loved to travel and spent her years exploring new places, moving from city to city while making friends along the way. She called many places home, including Trail, Nelson, Vancouver and Lethbridge, before eventually settling in Calgary. Diane worked in various capacities, as a telephone operator for BC Tel, working as a legal secretary and in a local police department in Vancouver, and at the Heart and Stroke foundation while living in Alberta. She was up for anything, as long as everyone was having was fun. Diane had a spirit of adventure and determination and those who knew her will remember her laughter and gift for gab.

Diane is lovingly remembered by her sister, Denise; sister-in-law, Debbie; nieces and nephews, Andrea (Rob), Sean, Ashley, Travis (Jessica), Justin (Chantel) and Tricia (Steve). She is also remembered by several cousins, aunts and uncles. Diane was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy; father, Leo; and brothers, Wayne and Michael.

In living memory of Diane, her family will be planting trees as a tribute to her, in support of reforestation efforts through A Living Tribute.
