Diane Lorraine Sjolie

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Lorraine Sjolie (nee Mather) on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the age of 74 years. Diane lost a brief battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, a fierce disease that took such a vibrant woman from her family much too soon. She will be lovingly remembered by her five children, Doug Sjolie (Shirley Baumhour), Rhonda Powell (nee Sjolie), Rod Sjolie (Shirley Sjolie), Jason Sjolie (Chantelle Sjolie), and Shandi Hyggen (nee Sjolie); her brother Richard Mather (Karen Mather); her nine grandchildren and her great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her brother, David Mather and both of her parents. Diane was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta where she made her home for the last twenty years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4000 Sienna Park Green SW, on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made in Diane’s memory directly to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 47 Squire Bakers Lane, Markham, Ontario L3P 3G8.
